It's that time of year again, the leaves start to change colors, the air gets a little colder, children are finally back in school and the little bastards are off my damn lawn. You hear me kids? Get off my f*cking grass.
It's the time of year when a young man's thoughts turn to the season premieres of many of his favorite shows.
September 6th: Sons of Anarchy - I hear great things about this show and I swear I'm going to watch it one day, but I'll be perfectly honest with you, September 6th doesn't work for me.
September 13th: Parenthood - Yes I realize Parenthood doesn't seem like something I would watch. It's not animated, there aren't any jokes about kittens wearing mittens. I'm not sure why I like this show, it damn sure doesn't have anything to do with Dax Sheperd. I swear.
September 15th: Its Always Sunny and Archer - Fat Mac, Charlie Kelley, Archer dealing with the death of his new wife, and Pam? I think I just peed a little.
September 22nd: Community, Parks and Rec, The Office, and Whitney - Whitney has the unenviable task of trying to survive in the epic Thursday night lineup of NBC. Outsourced, The Paul Reising Show, and that show with the three couples and the really hot chick from G4 all died horrible deaths when placed in the Thursday lineup but the promos for Whitney look surprisingly funny. I'll probably be watching, but that's only because I have no actual life other than television and kids.
You have redeemed yourself by loving Parenthood. Best family drama on tv.
