Ok, so I lied. There is no real earth shattering news to speak of. Hear me out first. I wanted to apologize for being lazier than normal this week and not coming up with any content for the past couple of days and the best way to do that was to suck you in with an exciting headline. It's Blogging 101. Grab them with an exciting headline and then lull them to sleep with sub-par content. Now, onto the sub-par content!!
The League is winning TV - Not only is FX's "The League" an incredibly smart show with a cast of little known actors but it's also apparently what all the cool kids are doing these days. Seth Rogen recently took a turn as the infamous 'Dirty Randy' in one of the best episodes to date but now they've announced that Sarah Silverman and Jeff Goldblum are set to guest star as Andre's sister and Ruxin's dad, respectively of course. Sarah Silverman has long been one of my favorite funny ladies who, when given material that doesn't force her to oversell, is nothing short of brilliant. Jeff Goldblum has one of those voices when combined with his cadence that has the ability to make the unfunny, funny. After Heart of Archness ended I was all set to go into mourning until "Archer" came back on the air, but I must admit "The League" has given me reason to hang up my black tactileneck shirt and live on until "Archer" returns.
