It is officially a sad day for television fans everywhere. CBS, in all of its television related brilliance, has decided that the one thing America has been missing is Rob Schneider. Outstanding idea CBS, I guess the talentless comedic hack quota wasn't completely filled by another season of Josh Radnor stumbling around ruining the efforts of an otherwise brilliant cast of How I Met You Mother. So I guess I should put up a blockquote and show my work now so that everyone doesn't think I'm making up these television exclusives. So what if I am? F you. You think this shit is easy? You think dick jokes and scathing articles filled with bitter hatred just write themselves? Do you think clever television themed animated gifs just grow on trees? You know what, you don't deserve it but here's the quote from Deadline anyway:
The multi-camera comedy… stars Schneider as Rob, a confirmed bachelor who has just married into a tight-knit Mexican-American family. Spanish actress Claudia Bassols plays his wife, Maggie. Diana Maria Riva plays his mother-in-law, Rosa. Both roles were recast from the pilot, as was the role of Schneider’s father-in-law, now played by Cheech Marin.
I'm sure it will air on Thursday nights around 10pm just so CBS can use its mindless cult of faithful viewers to crush Its Always Sunny and Archer.
His best role was as a stapler.
ReplyDeleteDid you know he picks up immigrants at Home Depot and pays them to strangle him while he showers?
