I was hesitant to talk about this show at first because of Comedy Central's awesome track record with original programming. (EG "Let's Bowl", "Chocolate News", "Krod Mandoon", that 'reality show' with comedians) Needless to say it hasn't been pretty for the network that has really only hit it big with "The Daily Show" and "South Park", but it seems like things are beginning to change since "Workaholics".
"Workaholics" is quite possibly the best show that you aren't watching. "Community" boasts viewership that would make this show jealous. All hyperbole aside, it is the greatest show ever aired on Comedy Central.
It's essentially a show about three guys Blake, Adam, and Anders after living together in college get a job together at a telemarketing company named TelAmericaCorp. "Workaholics" is easily one of the most quotable shows on television right now with terms like 'tight butthole' (because what's the tighest thing ever?) and 'fearection'.
Jillian: "Soooo lets not hang out with juggalos any more."
Blake: "They are who we thought they were."
Anders: "Walking, talking diarrhea people"
Adam: "Big money hustler is coming to Thanksgiving. Those are her boobs, oh my god!"
"Here's how this is gonna go. There's gonna be two hits; Me hitting you, and Kid Rock's 'Bawitdaba' playing in the background."
"There is no beer at the house. Because I beer-battered some brats... and then drank eleven beers."
Workaholics
The show airs on Comedy Central Tuesdays at 9:30 CST, until then enjoy this clip from season one.
