Not so fast Fox, Happy Madison, Sony TV, and Silvio Horta.
Fox has tapped Ugly Betty creator Silvio Horta to develop a half-hour comedy based on the infamous blog Texts From Last Night. Happy Madison and Sony Pictures TV are producing. Deadline
I, for one, am completely on board with this idea. I was super excited when the kid who wrote Shit My Dad Says sold his soul to CBS and let them cast the bloated corpse of William Shatner as his father. And just in case you weren't as hip and with it (people still say 'with it' right?) as I am, Silvio Horta not only created "Ugly Betty" but also the mega blockbuster hits "The Chronicle" and "Jake 2.0". I know right! How on earth did they get such a huge name with an incredible resume like that?
